Dongle is a compact and portable USB hardware, its actual size is just as indicated as below Fig. Please install Dongle driver first before using Dongle for activation application. Details please see Installing dongle USB driver.
1. Please plug the Dongle into the computer which has been installed with PowerCom. If it is the first time to use Dongle on this computer, please wait for a while then the indication windows will be shown up by sequence as below Figures at the right down corner of your computer screen. When the 3rd indication window shows up, it reminds you “Your devices are ready to use: Device driver software installed successfully”, that means PowerCom has been activated successfully. No more indication windows will show up when Dongle is plugged again into the computer, unless the computer is rebooted.
2. Open the information page of “About PowerCom” by click the serial path of Online help->About. On the information page of “About PowerCom” you can see the reminding wording has changed from the original “Trial version for 3 keypads. Please activate.” To “Dongle XXX keypads version”. For example, if the license for 500 keypads was activated, it will show “Dongle 500 keypad Version”. That means users can work with 500 activated keypads. After the Dongle is unplugged, the reminding word will come back to original “Trial version for 3 keypads. Please activate.”
