Audience Response Systems
Audience Response Systems, or Audience Voting Systems, are systems that benefit presentations by improving attentiveness, creating an interactive voting environment, allowing voters to remain anonymous and gathering votes or answers immediately and efficiently.
The system communicates with a computer and its projector. Audience Response Systems typically include keypads, which are remotes or clickers that audience members use to vote or answer questions, base stations, which receive the votes or answers wirelessly and immediately, and software for the system.
The system works like this: the audience members vote or answer using the buttons (choices) on their keypads (remotes), the information gets sent to the base station that is connected to the computer, and the votes/answers are then tallied and shown to the audience via the projector.
PowerCom sells audience response systems that include Fleetwood’s Reply keypads and base stations and a PowerPoint add-in software, so that slides and presentations can be made using PowerPoint and modified using PowerCom. Data polled using these Audience Response Systems can be exported onto Word or Excel documents for further evaluation. These systems can be used to enhance your corporate meetings, lecture halls, market research, and more.
