PowerCom licensing
We are frequently enhancing PowerCom, please check PowerCom web site for the latest version, your PowerCom CD in the package may be out-dated.
Please download the latest PowerCom trial
software from

Unzip the file and install PowerCom on your computer. You have one year of free
PowerCom version upgrade. We strongly recommend you purchase the annually product
version upgrade and technical support option. (First year is free)
Please note that you can create the PPT question slide with the trial version.
The PowerCom team would like to suggest that you test with the trail version and carefully select the right computer for full version activation later.
PowerCom provides
three licensing options: USB dongle ($50.00 extra) and tie to base and 32 digits
software activation key.

- Tie to Base(New feature available since V2.36): As known as “activate by base station serial number"
- Must have internet connection.
- Can activate by serial number before install base station USB driver.
- Just simply enter the base station serial number as the CD key, no need to connect the base station.
- Activation with your email and company name will automatically register your PowerCom license. This will speed up PowerCom technical support. Use non-company email or the company name is not the same as the PowerCom purchase order will delay technical support response time. PowerCom technical support team may request proof of purchase with date before the support case can be created.
- Dongle: Dongle is a compact and portable USB hardware. Please install Dongle driver first before using Dongle for activation application. Details please see PowerCom Dongle License.
- 32 bit CD Key:
- Must have internet connection.
- Activation with your email and company name will automatically register your PowerCom license. This will speed up PowerCom technical support. Use non-company email or the company name is not the same as the PowerCom purchase order will delay technical support response time. PowerCom technical support team may request proof of purchase with date before the support case can be created.

Note: Users must have Internet connectivity to activate PowerCom.
Contacting PowerCom Support
For the internal use, we highly recommend using “tie to base” to activate your PowerCom for the unlimited activation is allowed.
If your organization share ARS equipment over several locations but not to share the computer, please consider Dongle license option. Please contact PowerCom for dongle option.
If in case you run out of activation counts, please contact the PowerCom team.
Prevention of Casual Copying
In an effort to reduce software piracy and
ensure that PowerCom's customers receive the product quality they expect, Product
Activation technology is being incorporated in all PowerCom products.
The goal of Product Activation is to reduce a form of piracy known as "casual
copying" or "softlifting." Casual copying is a form of piracy
characterized by the sharing of software between people in a way that infringes
on the software's end user license agreement (EULA).
PowerCom is primarily licensed for use on a single PC and without purchasing
additional licenses cannot be installed on other machines. If someone were to
obtain a copy of PowerCom activation key and activate it on his or her PC, then
share it with a second person who loaded it on his or her PC, they would then
be guilty of casual copying.
PowerCom license allows for software to be re-installed and activated on the
same PC an unlimited number of times. To ensure that you are using your license
properly, please see your end user license agreement or product use rights for
details on a specific product.
Casual copying accounts for a large portion of the economic losses due to piracy.
Over time, reduced piracy means that the software industry can invest more in
product development, quality and support. This ensures better products and more
innovation for customers. Ultimately, customers will benefit from the economic
impact of reduced piracy through increased job opportunities and higher wages.
Obtaining User Information
When you activate PowerCom, your computer system information is recorded in PowerCom license server. This is done for license registration purposes and providing continued support and updates for the customer. The information is not divulged to any third party.
